Hotel is quaint and v. clean. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and v. willing to help with directions, maps etc. Rooms are not big but are adequate! Breakfast was excellent - beautiful fresh fruit, cheeses and bread. There are lots of nice restaurants in the vicinity, which are reasonably priced.
Top Tip
The hotel has some 10% discount cards for certain restaurants in the area (which we were very glad to use) - just ask at reception.. There is also a nice bar "Duke of York" just across the road, old worldy and quiet. We went to Camden market (just 3 stops from Goodge St. on the Northern line) at 9.30 a.m. on Sun. and the place was buzzing. Really excellent way to spend a Sun. morn. Up near the Camden lock end there are some nice jewellery and clothes shops.

From arrival this hotel was perfect, reception staff very professional, concierge excellent, all good. I had booked a regular room and after reading reviews noticed there were upgrades available, I contacted the hotel and nothing was too much trouble, we paid a little extra for an upgrade but it was well worth it. We had the continental type buffet breakfast in with the deal and it was only an extra £5 to go for the full-English cooked version. I mention reading the reviews and noticed how many of them referred to ridiculous nit-picking, the hotel is top notch but the whingers will always find something to moan about, take no notice of them, this place is perfect. Easy walking distance to all the West End theatres, Covent Garden, Soho etc... Loads of great restaurants nearby, a great Chez Gerard too. The hotel gives you a discount card which covers a few of the local restaurants.

Very nice, good location, v. clean, stands out very well against local competition (not too hard in London one must admit). I'd go back anytime. Free or less expensive Wireless would be better. £6 a day is steep and unusual. At the room prices we paid a continental breakfast ought to have been included. Café Nero isn't too far away though.

Amazing location. Very quiet for such a central hotel. Room small but perfectly adequate. Lots of local restaurants etc.
Top Tip
Buy water before you go back to your room each night as you only get complimentary water on day 1 no matter how long you stay! Spaghetti House (on Charlotte Street) is well worth a visit. Yum!

Absolutely fabulous hotel, lovely rooms and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in a hotel. Staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful. Its in a brilliant location, 5 mins walk from Oxford Street, 10-15 min walk to theatres and Chinatown. 5 mins from Tottenham Court Road tube station. Lots of bars and restaurant in streets around hotel, but no noise at night in the hotel.
Top Tip
Walk into Chinatown for a lovely chinese buffet, huge choice and very cheap.
