Stayed as a lone female, business guest in a single room.
Dull, utilitarian, very small room with view of scaffolding. Room located close to 3 lifts in constant use, night and day.
Restaurant: buffet breakfast stone cold on Saturday morning but ok on Sunday morning. Waiting staff needed to be repeatedly asked for coffee, although the lone male at an adjacent table was automatically offered coffee and a refill!

Staff at reception on arrival and departure were very friendly and efficient, staff in dining room at breakfast were terrific, real service with a smile from the waiters and waitresses. Location of hotel means that Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Piccadilly, Oxford St shopping, Trafalgar Square, the Embankment etc are all within a comfortable stroll

The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment and this was made clear on booking so some allowances are made for that. Rooms are small but neat and clean. The safe didn't work in our room and nothing was done to address that even though we reported it. Service at breakfast was generally poor - having to ask several times for tea and coffee, long waits to be seated etc. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. This hotel is really a glorified travel lodge and on that basis is a little on the pricey side.
Top Tip
The Pizza Express restaurant in Coptic Street (in an old dairy) is a great place to eat with a good atmosphere and helpful staff. About 5 minutes walk from the hotel past the British Museum.

Great location, great rooms and facilities. Didn't eat in although bar etc looked good. Outside of the hotel didn't look all that - but defo worth a stay in central London and great value for money. Really handy for Soho and Covent Garden and easy reach of tube stations.

The staff at breakfast were superb at accomodating 14 altogether. Reception rather slow to check us in. Excellent value through website, would not pay full hotel price. Garden, British Museum and many theatres within walking distance.
Top Tip
Good Indian restaurant two doors away that will seat large numbers. Covent
