Traveller from Glasgow stayed in May,2010
Guest Comment:
The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment and this was made clear on booking so some allowances are made for that. Rooms are small but neat and clean. The safe didn't work in our room and nothing was done to address that even though we reported it. Service at breakfast was generally poor - having to ask several times for tea and coffee, long waits to be seated etc. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. This hotel is really a glorified travel lodge and on that basis is a little on the pricey side.
Top Tip:
The Pizza Express restaurant in Coptic Street (in an old dairy) is a great place to eat with a good atmosphere and helpful staff. About 5 minutes walk from the hotel past the British Museum.
